Christian Homes began as a leap of faith in 1962 when LeRoy McGeath of Riverton, Illinois, shared his dream of a Christian-based home for the elderly with several other men from area churches. This shared vision led to the opening of The Christian Nursing Home in Lincoln, Illinois, in 1965. Over the past several decades, Christian Homes has grown to become the 2nd largest not-for-profit senior health care provider in the nation.
Since 1965, our ministry has been blessed by the partnerships of countless people and supporting churches who believe in, contribute to, and celebrate our extraordinary mission. It is through these relationships that we are able to provide quality, resident-centered, cost-effective health care programs and services to meet the emerging needs of the communities we serve.
