Bridgeway Christian Village established roots within the community back in 1895. For over a hundred years Bridgeway Christian Village has been providing complete and individualized care to all its residents. Built on 26 acres, this campus includes 160 independent living Garden Homes and Senior Apartments known as Bridgeway of Bensenville and a 224-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. This all-encompassing community is more than equipped to serve seniors through its talented and dedicated group of employees and volunteers.

What started as the collective vision of Pastors from13 area churches has become one of the most well-respected continuum care communities in the region. Bridgeway Christian Village is richly steeped in history. From the mid-50s through the 70s, it thrived as an elder care nursing home. In the 80s, a chapel was constructed. Several stained glass windows were donated that were originally part of the Irion Hall at Elmhurst College. In the 90s, independent living and rehabilitation services were added. And the new millennium brought Memory Care options to light. Throughout its existence, Bridgeway Christian Village has adapted to continually meet the needs of residents in the surrounding communities of Bensenville, Elmhurst, Park Ridge, Wood Dale, Addison, and other Chicagoland suburbs - and plans to continue that tradition for many years to come. Our mission is to honor God by providing support for senior adults. We offer a choice of lifestyles, services, and amenities that are needed to support the high quality of life, with the love, care, and respect our seniors deserve.
